Blue Ridge Music Trails Regional Meeting

The Old-Time Music Heritage Hall at the Historic Earle Theatre is proud to host a regional meeting for the Blue Ridge Music Trails of North Carolina on Tuesday, April 30 from 1 to 4 p.m.  The Blue Ridge Music Trails of North Carolina is a program established by the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area Partnership and the North Carolina Arts Council.

The project connects counties in western North Carolina, along the Blue Ridge Parkway that have a rich tradition in music.  It hopes to promote music venues from Surry county down to Clay county.

The session will serve as a planning meeting for the program to encourage visitors to stop at the different points of interest along the trail and promote traditional music of western North Carolina.  The meeting is free and open to the public.  It will include Stokes, Yadkin, Iredell, Rockingham and Surry counties.
